Introduction

The Goal Management System is designed to simplify and optimize the process of setting, tracking, and achieving goals within your organization. Whether adding individual goals or importing goals in bulk, the system provides various tools to organize, filter, and monitor goal progress. It enables teams and managers to align their objectives, manage associated tasks, track completion percentages, and modify goal statuses with ease. With customizable views, quick editing options, and an intuitive interface, the system ensures that all stakeholders stay on track, remain accountable, and work towards achieving their goals efficiently.

Manage Goals:

  • Managing goals is at the core of this system, allowing users to create, organize, and track their goals effectively. Key features for goal management include.
  • Creating New Goals: Adding new goals is simple and flexible. When creating a goal, you can define essential details such as start and end dates, stakeholders, objectives, and categories. The system dynamically adjusts the options based on the selected criteria, ensuring that your goals are aligned and logically structured.
  • Importing Goals in Bulk: For large organizations or teams, importing multiple goals at once can save significant time. The import feature allows users to upload goals using a structured template, ensuring a seamless bulk entry.
  • Filtering and Searching Goals: To find specific goals quickly, users can apply various filters such as status, stakeholder, objective, category and date range. The search function also updates the goal list in real time as you type, helping you locate goals based on their name or other characteristics.
  • Customizing Goal Views: The table view can be customized to display only the relevant columns, ensuring that you have a focused overview of the most important goal data. You can adjust up to 8 columns for an optimal user experience.
  • Quick Goal Edits: You can easily update a goal’s status (e.g., On going, On hold, Inprogress or Completed) and adjust the completion percentage directly from the Goals List. Quick edits help maintain real-time visibility into goal progress.
  • Actionable Goal Buttons: Each goal comes with various action buttons like “View,” “Edit,” “Delete,” and “Feedback.” These buttons allow you to access detailed goal information, make changes, provide feedback, or remove goals when necessary.
 Manage Goal Tasks:
  • Managing tasks within each goal is essential to ensure progress is tracked. The system provides various features to help users create, organize, and monitor tasks efficiently. Key features for managing goal tasks include.
  • Create Task: Adding tasks is straightforward and flexible. Users can add new tasks directly from the goal’s task list page. When creating a task, they can assign it to specific team members, set deadlines, and define task statuses. Each task plays an important role in achieving the overall goal and helps track progress.
  • Filtering and Searching Tasks: To find specific tasks quickly, users can apply various filters such as by status and date range. The search function also updates the task list in real time as users type, helping them locate tasks based on their name or other criteria.
  • Quick Edit Tasks: You can easily update a tasks status (e.g., On going, On hold, Inprogress or Completed) and adjust the completion percentage directly from the Tasks List. Quick edits help maintain real-time visibility into task progress.
  • Action Buttons: Each task comes with action buttons like “Edit” and “Delete.” These buttons allow users to view and modify task details, or delete tasks that are no longer needed. The system includes a confirmation prompt before deletion to ensure tasks are not removed accidentally.
