The notification is used to display upcoming meetings and the planned status of upcoming sprints.
Functionality:
i. Notification count:
- The notification icon will display the number of available notifications, keeping users informed of any new updates.
ii. Opening notifications:
- When the user clicks on the notification icon, a detailed notification panel opens. This panel will show two sections: today’s and tomorrow’s meetings in the “Meetings” checkbox, and upcoming sprint planning details in the “Scrum” checkbox.
iii. Meeting details:
- The meeting details section displays the date, time, product name, and meeting location. The meeting location is hidden by default and is revealed when the user clicks the down arrow icon. Only meetings scheduled for today and tomorrow are shown. If the meeting is online, a clickable link is provided, allowing the user to join the meeting directly.
iv. Scrum details:
- The scrum section provides information on the upcoming sprint, including the sprint version and a summary of the planned sprint activities.
v. Sprint navigation:
- Users can click directly on the sprint details to navigate to the sprint page, allowing them to quickly access specific sprint information.
iv. Task Delay Notification:
1. Notification Context
The notification highlights tasks that are overdue or at risk of delay.
It includes essential details like the milestone and task name, as well as the date from which the delay started.

Task Name: Document Analysis
Milestone: Milestone 1 – Discovery Workshop
Delay Start Date: November 15, 2024
Action Needed: The task requires immediate attention to update its status and mitigate further delays.
3. Purpose of Notifications
Timely Communication: Alerts team members and managers about delayed tasks to ensure transparency.
Proactive Action: Encourages users to update the task or take corrective measures.
Accountability: Assigns responsibility to specific milestones and tasks, helping track delays effectively.
4. User Flow
Notification Trigger:
The system generates a notification when a task crosses its scheduled deadline.
Notification Display:
The delayed task notifications are displayed in the Notifications section of the Scrum tool.
Each notification is marked with an alert icon () to draw immediate attention.
User Action:
Users can click on the notification to view detailed task and milestone information.
Updates can be made directly from the notification or the respective task page.
